At QBP we love bikes. We race, ride, glide, puff, plod and commute our way across the landscape. They line our corridors, lean against our cubes and infuse our conversations from dawn till dusk. To us, bikes are much more than wheels and steel. In their spinning cogs we see new possibilities for our planet: cleaner air, greener spaces and pedaling packs of healthier humans enjoying it all.
So do you need to be a gear head to work at QBP? Nope. You don’t have to know a braze-on from a bottom bracket. Some of us don’t even own a bike! Yet for all our diversity, we have a few qualities in common: passion, commitment and a quenchless thirst to learn and improve. Our managers genuinely care about their team members and nurture an atmosphere of mutual respect where every voice is heard. We all have a chance to grow personally and professionally, and make a difference in the company.
But we’re not all bike and no play. We have lots of celebrations, barbeques, potlucks and the occasional dunk-the-manager contest. Once a year, we pack up our bikes, dogs, Frisbees and families for a weekend of festive fun at the annual company retreat. More than a company—we’re a community. Our ranks include actors, painters, poets, potters, pickers-n-grinners and guitar-thrashing masters o’ metal. And dogs—can’t forget the dogs!* Because we believe strongly in work-life balance, all these folks have time beyond their jobs for la dolce vita—the sweet life. Overall, we think it’s pretty sweet working at QBP. We think you will, too.
*Our Dog of the Day program lets one furry friend visit each day.
