Admission for Fat Bike Summit Set at $99 Dollars

Increased Sponsorship Defrays Cost of Expanded Summit and Festival
Despite costs associated with hosting a significantly expanded event, admission to the Fat Bike Summit and Festival will not exceed $99.00. This is due to an increased sponsor lineup that includes bike brands Salsa Cycles and Surly, 45North, a winter tire and apparel manufacturer, and Fat-Bike.com. The Fat Bike Summit and Festival runs from January 25 to 27 in Island Park, Idaho.

“Thanks to support from our sponsors, we’re able to keep this event accessible to almost everyone who wants to attend,” said Gary Sjoquist, advocacy director for QBP. “It will be a great time with a lot of winter-biking fun. But more importantly, it will bring land managers and fat bike enthusiasts together, driving home the point that we need more trail access. Everyone who joins us can help build the future of this sport.”

During Summit portion of the event, held on Friday, January 25, attendees will discuss roadblocks to fat biking in national parks and forests, and explore ways to increase access. Land managers from key national parks and forests, as well as state and county facilities, have been invited to attend the Summit. To register, go to www.fatbikesummit.com.
